Francine Applewhite

Attorney Francine L. Applewhite has been an instructor for D.E.R. for the past year teaching LSAT. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985 and it’s Law School in 1988. Ms. Applewhite is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Maryland.

Ms. Applewhite is a solo practitioner, and businesswoman. She is the President of F& M Services, LLC, a mortgage lender, and the Director of Spring Home Assisted Living Residence. A former Hearings Examiner for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission and an adjunct professor at Suffolk University. Ms. Applewhite is a Commissioner of the Montgomery County Commission on Juvenile Justice.

Attorney Applewhite has served on the board of directors of Community Legal Services and Counseling Center, serving her last four years as Clerk of the Board of Directors. She is a former president of the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys. Her professional memberships include the Black Women Attorneys Association of Suburban Maryland, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County and the American Bar Association.
